When you're smiling, the Universe smiles with you.

When You're Smiling...the whole world smiles with you.

A Course In Miracles trains our minds to know the real purpose of our bodies: 1) a communication device, and 2) the home to the ego. We get to decide what to communicate and that choice can be only love or fear. All human emotions boil down to these two emotions. The ego always operates from fear and tries to convince us that we are separate from each other and from the universe. When we identify with fear, we are always the victim. When we identify with Love, we find safety in Truth.

Yet, our bodies are only temporary -- extremely temporary compared to vast and unending infinity. A Course in Miracles says the body is but a dream and the real truth is in our spirits. We are spirits having a human experience. Our spirits are joined in the Mind of God and we are One.

One of the best uses of the body is for prayer and meditation. When we focus on our divinity, our minds are attuned to the highest level of consciousness. Our thoughts are clearer when we turn away from the physical world. In silence, we can experience peace. Meditation changes us at the cellular level and gives us a positive boost. I choose to believe that this is one of the most important contributions we can make in this world. There is already too much negativity. When we choose to be positive and turn our focus to Truth and Peace, we influence the vibration of the universe. That's POWERFUL!

"Please do not think we must be solemn in order to meditate. In fact, to meditate well, we must smile a lot." --Vietnamese Buddhist monk and peace activist, Thich Nhat Hanh. Meditation's purpose is not to add more thoughts in the mind but to release them. When we do this, we can successfully remember that in spirit, we are free.
